After Sunset

The etymology of photography is pretty simple. Photos is Greek for light and graphos is writing or painting. Sometimes the light you have to paint with takes on magical qualities and sometimes it just seems blunt and unforgiving.

Last weekend I met up with David and Teresa and together we were chasing the disappearing light on the Brooklyn Bridge. The sun had technically set ten minutes before we took these photos and the light and colors appeared magical against the dark blue sky before completely disappearing only moments later.

Seemed like everyone was in love on the bridge.
